Jinyang FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) I-beams are pultruded composite structural beams with an I-shaped cross-section. Combining high bending strength with low weight, they are used as floor beams, purlins, and support members in corrosive environments where steel beams corrode or conduct electricity.

How It Works

Continuous glass fibers are pulled through a resin bath and an I-shaped die, forming top and bottom flanges connected by a web. The I-section places material where bending stress is highest, giving efficient stiffness per unit weight. Beams are cut to length and bolted or spliced into frames.
