The Jinyang large horizontal FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) storage tank is a heavy-duty, filament-wound vessel designed for high-volume liquid storage in industrial and municipal projects. With diameters up to 4000 mm and capacities over 100 m3, it combines the corrosion resistance of FRP with the structural strength required for large-scale chemical, water, and effluent storage.

How It Works

The tank is manufactured by continuous filament winding with polyester or vinyl ester resin and E-glass fiber, producing a seamless shell with controlled wall thickness. Liquids enter through the top manway or inlet nozzle, are retained inside, and are discharged through the side outlet. Reinforced saddles support the horizontal vessel and transfer the load to the foundation, while external stiffeners maintain shape under full load and partial vacuum conditions.
